Night Position: High Speed Internet Installer for The Dalles, Oregon

The High Speed Internet Install team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated high speed network in the world. We're diverse, upbeat, creative, team-oriented engineers and managers are working on a daily basis to develop new and exciting ways to delivery Internet access. This position is for our night shift that starts from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday as calls arise or you are needed. The role: High Speed Internet Installer You will be an experienced high speed Internet technician who will install, fix, and monitor our extensive network. Working under the direction of the Qnect.net Management, you will interact with business and home users. You must ensure that wireless network problems are identified and repaired quickly and that Qnect.net delivers the best customer service anywhere. A good technician will develop creative approaches to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and implement new strategies. Responsibilities: Operate, monitor, maintain, install, fix, and upgrade Internet connections in abnormal conditions both in the summer and throughout the winter. Areas include: Basic Networking, Climbing up and down ladders safely and efficiently, Mechanical, Network Monitoring and Control.
